【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC15459specifiesaunique,non-significantstringofcharactersfortheuniqueidentificationofreturnabletransportitems(RTIs).Thecharacterstringisintendedtoberepresentedinaradiofrequencyidentification(RFID)transponder,barcodelabelorotherautomaticidentificationanddatacapture(AIDC)mediaattachedtotheitemtomeetsupplychainmanagementneeds.ToaddressmanagementneedsdifferentclassesofRTIarerecognisedinthevariouspartsofISO/IEC15459,whichallowsdifferentrequirementstobemetbytheuniqueidentifiersassociatedwitheachclass.TherulesfortheuniqueidentifierforRTIs,toidentifytheuniqueoccurrenceofanitem,withtheidentitybeingrelevantforthecompletelifecycleoftheitem,aredefinedandsupportedbyanexample.
